UFA is an independent fish auction organisation. Specially trained and qualified staff conduct checks on the correct sizing, quality, and temperature of the landed fish, and ensure compliance with the management measures which are established in the control code for trading standards on the basis of the European regulations.

UFA is connected to the PEFA. This ensures access to a large network of buyers from home and abroad who can bid on your freshly caught fish physically and online. Top quality fish deserves a fair price.
Transparent and efficient
Our auction processes are clear and transparent. UFA is thus able to respond flexibly and efficiently to market developments. The administrative process and financial settlement are largely automated, and suppliers have access to the proceeds of their landed fish and shrimp on the day of sale.

Stellendam
The Goereese fishing fleet departs for sea on Sunday night and returns early Friday morning with mainly flatfish and shrimp. The fish auction is held weekly on Friday, starting at 7:00 am. During the season, Oosterschelde lobster is auctioned. The auction of this delicacy begins around 8:00 am on Friday.
