Payments
When you buy fish at UFA, you commit to paying for the fish you have purchased. This can be done through a deposit payment or by providing a bank guarantee. A deposit or bank guarantee ensures that you will meet your financial obligations. As a buyer, your purchase limit is as high as the amount of your bank guarantee or deposit. A bank guarantee or deposit does not however relieve you of the payment obligation. It only serves as payment security. You can either pay our invoices yourself or opt for a direct debit.
Bank guarantee
Contact your bank for a bank guarantee. The bank will prepare the guarantee and send it to UFA. You can start purchasing fish from us shortly after we have received the guarantee! To simplify matters, we have created a sample bank guarantee to include with your application to the bank.
Deposit payment
Want to pay a deposit? Contact our administration by phone or e-mail. We will provide the correct details so you can make a deposit payment easily.
Direct debit
The easiest way to pay is by direct debit. You can simply provide a standing order for an automated debit online. We use Twikey for this service. Once you have purchased fish, we ask the bank to pay the invoices. You don’t need to do anything else. No payments are overlooked, and everything is paid accurately and on time. With a direct debit, you no longer run the risk of outstanding invoices reducing your purchase limit.
As an existing customer, you are requested to fill in the “Register as buyer” form once to provide the standing order for direct debit.
